Professional Experience

Goh Bun Hiong is the Head of Tax and Digital Leader at PKF-CAP LLP, bringing over 30 years of specialized tax expertise to the firm since 2011. He began his career at Arthur Andersen Singapore (1994–1999), handling corporate tax, GST, and cross-border planning for banking, insurance, and SME clients. In 1999, he joined Philips Electronics Group as part of their Asia Pacific pioneer team, supporting mergers & acquisitions (including landmark deals with LG, TSMC, and Agilent) and managing transfer pricing, tax disputes, and investment negotiations. As Senior Tax Director for NXP Semiconductors (2006–2010), he led the APAC tax strategy during its NASDAQ IPO and major projects with STMicroelectronics and Trident Microsystems.

Bun Hiong holds extensive experience in tax compliance, digital transformation, and regional incentive programs, with a proven track record in high-value M&A tax structuring. He was recently appointed as a committee member of the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP) Tax & Levies Committee for the 2025–2026 term. reinforcing his standing as a leading tax authority in Singapore.
