Professional Experience

Alvin is a trusted Governance, Risks and Compliance (“GRC”) leader, having helped several multinational brands develop and improve their GRC strategies to unlock value. He has led multiple cross-border GRC projects across the Asia-Pacific region and enhance people communications across diverse markets.

He has worked in a Big-Four leadership team to drive their purpose statement and values. This enhance the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives for sustainable growth.

Alvin built trust with an NYSE client to provide leadership stability amidst challenging compliance allegations. He mitigated significant risks for the client and the firm was subsequently appointed the statutory auditor.

Alvin has assisted clients to build more digital trust in their technology risks management process. He also drives an ‘as one’ approach with his audit counterparts to devise efficient and effective audit strategies.

He is a member of ICAEW, CPA Australia, ISACA, ACFE and CIMA.
